Who writes it?
I do: DC, a freelance ecommerce developer and systems architect in the UK. Each piece is about work I do for clients, which is why it tends to be specific about versions, settings and costs.
Teardowns of what goes wrong on live stores, version-exact notes on the platforms they run on, build-alongs and the leadership calls behind them. Eighteen years of building and auditing ecommerce, written up in public, with every figure sourced.

From primary sources wherever they exist: vendors’ own release notes and lifecycle pages, standards bodies and named research. Every article lists its sources at the end, with the date they were checked.
Photographs of software are real screenshots. Illustrations are generated, and they’re labelled AI-generated wherever they appear.
Platform notes are updated when the vendor changes something, and dated so you can see how current they are. Teardowns and cost pieces are revised when the numbers behind them move.
